How to Apply to the ISU Masters Programs

The ISU Admissions Committee assesses applicants to the MSS and MSM programs based on their academic and professional qualifications, their achievements, and their proficiency in English.

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent, including 3 years of studies as a minimum, awarded by an accredited university. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree under the new Bologna scheme are welcome to apply. Information on academic qualification equivalencies may be obtained from the ISU Admissions Office ( ).
  • Preference is given to applicants holding higher academic degrees and to applicants with professional experience in the industry, government agencies or academic institutions. class_looking_at_computor.jpg

Tuition & fees Print E-mail

Tuition fee for the MSc programs 2010-2011 is € 25,000. Payment may also be made in US dollars at the inter-bank exchange rate on the date of payment.

Fees remain unchanged whether the program is studied on a full-time basis (during the course of one academic year) or in modules (to be completed within a seven-year period). However, it should be noted that there is a registration fee of € 400 that will be charged each time a student registers for a subsequent module or a series of modules. Tuition fees for each module are as follows:

Module 1: € 5,500
Module 2: € 5,500
Module 3: € 5,500
Module 4: € 5,500
Module 5: € 3,000 (Internship)

Deadlines for applications and financial aid 

The earlier candidates apply, the greater their chances of obtaining financial aid through ISU.

Applicants should apply online on the ISU website before the following deadline: 30 June 2010.  Scholarships will be awarded within the limits of funds available, so early applications are highly recommended. All applicants should mark the relevant box on the Confidential Financial Information form of the application.

The Admissions Committee will notify applicants of its decision within five weeks after receiving a complete* application. 

*Copies of transcripts plus the two letters of recommendation must follow within 2 weeks of the deadline.

Applications submitted after the dates listed above will be accepted subject to availability of places.
