At the 40th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs on April 8, 2025, the International Space University (ISU) formalized a strategic partnership with the Space Foundation and its Space Workforce for Tomorrow (SWFT) initiative, developed in collaboration with The Aerospace Corporation and over 30 leading U.S. space organizations.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets the foundation for a multi-year collaboration focused on addressing the growing demand for a diverse, well-prepared space workforce across the United States.

Key Areas of Collaboration:
- Joint development of education and training programs tailored to space industry needs
- Professional outreach and learning opportunities delivered through virtual and in-person formats
- Exploration of an ISU satellite campus in Colorado Springs
- Strategic alignment with national workforce development efforts to open inclusive, sustainable career pathways in space
