For two and a half days, teams in 10 European countries will take part in the CASSINI Hackathon – a fast-paced innovation event where participants work together to create bold solutions using EU space technologies like Copernicus and Galileo. Their mission: tackle real-world challenges in the healthcare sector by turning ideas into prototypes, fast.
This edition’s three main challenges
1️⃣ Monitoring Disease Outbreaks and Health Risks
Using the One Health approach and space data, participants will analyze the links between environment and health to anticipate disease outbreaks and and identify emerging health risks.
2️⃣ Smart Emergency Healthcare Delivery
This challenge aims to improve medical logistics, telemedicine, and emergency response by leveraging space technologies.
3️⃣ Mental Health and Well-Being
Participants will create tools to measure the environmental impact on mental health (pollution, noise, heat) and propose concrete solutions.

The French Edition
This hackathon will take place entirely in person at the ISU Central Campus in Strasbourg, in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.
It is co-organized by the ISU Incubator and Alsace Digitale, with support from BioValley France, SEMIA, and other leading innovation players in the Grand Est region.
