The International Space University is pleased to confirm that the next Space Studies Program (SSP) will take place at ISU’s home campus in Strasbourg, France, from Monday 22 June to Friday 21 August 2020.

Postgraduate students and professionals of all disciplines interested in a career in the Space sector are encouraged to apply to this unique multidisciplinary curriculum, delivered by more than 100 experts from around the world.

The learning experience will be greatly facilitated by the environment provided by the ISU unique campus architecture specially designed for ISU’s programs and the beautiful and culturally rich region of Strasbourg and surroundings.

SSP is an intense residential professional development course on all aspects of Space activities, both non-technical and technical ranging from policy, economics and law, business and management and humanities to life sciences, engineering, physical sciences, space applications and human performance in Space.

In addition to a comprehensive set of Core Lectures, a choice among seven different Disciplinary Departments, a rich offer of Fundamental and Elective Workshops and Professional Visits to hi-tech companies and laboratories in France, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland, participants will be working on one of the following Team Projects in an International, Intercultural and Interdisciplinary environment for which the ISU is well known:

  • On orbit Mobility and Manipulation.
  • International Cooperation on the Use of the Chinese Space Station.
  • Space Medical Centre.
  • A possible fourth topic to be advised at a later stage.

The SSP’s learning environment feeds into an extensive professional network from which the graduates can benefit during their entire career and comprising faculty members, visiting lecturers and the 4800 ISU alumni in over 100 countries.

For participants wishing to enhance their English abilities before the program, an optional 5-day Space English Access Course is proposed from 15 to 19 June at the ISU Central Campus.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, including 3 years of studies as a minimum, awarded by an accredited university. Information on academic qualification equivalencies may be obtained from the ISU Admissions Office.

Application deadlines have been extended. Interested participants should apply online on the ISU website and send the requested documents by 29 February 2020 if they are requesting scholarships, and by 30 April 2020 if they have already secured their tuition fees.
