2020 International Symposium on the Peaceful Use of Space Technology – Health (IPSPACE 2020)
To be held online on 18 and 19 November 2020


Presentations and roundtables will feature the many aspects of space technology for health benefits on Earth, including for the monitoring, prevention and mitigation of future pandemics.

Speakers include members of ISU’s global faculty and alumni:

  • Farhan Asrar, Co-Chair of ISU’s Team Project on Space and Pandemics who will present the TP’s report together with two graduates from ISP20,
  • Gongling Sun (Central Campus) will discuss education for space and ISU’s 3I concept,
  • Bob Thirsk, Canadian Astronaut, who will talk about “Preparing for the Next Global Crisis”.
