SpaceTalk TNG – Spring Summer 2018 Issue Is Out
The latest edition of SpaceTalk The Next Generation (SpaceTalk-TNG), the magazine designed and edited by alumni for all International Space University alumni is available now!
From Graham Weaver, managing editor, SpaceTalk TNG, ISU’90:
“On behalf of myself, Maria Perino (Editor in Chief), Tihomir Dimitrov (Layout and Graphics), Abdul M Ismail (Deputy Editor), our Contributing Editors and especially all of our Authors, may I welcome you to the Spring/Summer 2018 issue of Space Talk - The Next Generation (SpaceTalk-TNG), the new quarterly e-magazine produced for Alumni of all ISU courses, by the Alumni Community.
You'll find this sixth issue (and the previous issues) located here.
Our aim, with SpaceTalk-TNG, is to reach out to alumni of ISU from all countries, cultures, disciplines and generations. We are very aware that, to date, we have not been serving the Interdisciplinary aspect very well, with almost all articles being Space focused. To that end, we would like to strongly emphasise that we welcome articles on all topics whether directly Space related or not. It is primarily our attendance at ISU that unites us, not our area of expertise.
Alumni Weekend 2018
This year’s SSP will be held in The Netherlands and the Alumni Weekend will be held on 27th-29th July – details and registration can be found HERE. Several of the SpaceTalk team will be in attendance, so do please take the opportunity to say hello and give us any feedback you may have!
Autumn 2018 Issue
We’re already beginning the planning of our seventh issue, with an article submission deadline August 12th. Please do consider making a contribution – this doesn’t have to be a full article, but can take many forms:
- An article (usually up to 1800 words), preferably with some high resolution photos / graphics
- A report on a recent alumni related event (alumni dinner, alumni reunion, alumni wedding, etc.)
- A planned alumni event such as those above
See the back cover for details on how to contribute. Submission deadline for the next issue is August 12th.
Keep in touch!”
Congratulations to the managing editor, Graham Weaver, the rest of the team and all contributing alumni for yet another outstanding publication!
