Astronauts, Legos, Moon Smells – all at SpaceUp ISU

Strike a conversation with Cosmonaut Dorin Prunariu. Build a Lego mosaic with Fanabriques or smell the Moon with Hagen Betsweiser – all and more at SpaceUp ISU on 11 and 12 March 2017 at ISU Central Campus.

The International Space University (ISU) Master of Space Studies (MSS17) participants, staff and sponsors have prepared an outstanding program for this second edition of SpaceUp ISU. Dr. Dorin Prunariu, the Romanian cosmonaut and former President of the Association of Space Explorers is the keynote speaker.

Mr. Hagen Betsweiser, a German artist from the artistic duo “We Colonize the Moon”, examines the corporate implications of space colonization and explores the smell of the Moon, as described by Apollo 16 Charlie Duke. A smell which he will share in his performance with the SpaceUp ISU participants.

Intertwined with building a large Lego mosaic, listening to Thomas Pesquet’s saxophonists, tasting some local culinary delights!

ISU thanks its sponsors for this event which are, so far: Association of Space Explorers, HE Space, Fanabriques, Spaceboard, UK Space Agency.

It will also be the opportunity to start celebrating ISU’s 30th anniversary with a special surprise for all participants!
