Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program

13 January to 14 February 2020 - Mawson Lakes Campus, University of South Australia Adelaide, Australia

The Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program is an intensive, five week, live-in experience built around an international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary (3 “I”s) educational philosophy for which the International Space University (ISU) is renowned. The program provides a multidisciplinary understanding of the key activities and areas of knowledge required by today’s space professions, including:

• Space science and exploration
• Space applications and services
• Human spaceflight and life sciences
• Space systems engineering and technologies
• Space policy and economics
• Space business and project management
• Space law and regulatory issues

Five full scholarships from the South Australian government will be available in particular for candidates from South Australia. One of the selection criteria is the potential for the successful applicant to contribute to the development of the South Australian space eco-system. Special consideration will be given to qualified indigenous applicants from South Australia (to be mentioned in the additional information section of the application if relevant). The application deadline to be eligible for these scholarships (requiring fully completed SH-SSP19 application forms and reference letters provided) is 15 November 2018. For more info, click HERE.
